When you find the right person you should try it.
I haven't had a spare moment to write much lately.
Picture taking and editing, wife duties, and our newest edition (Lois) to the family have kept me busy.
But I want to share some of the moments the week before our best day ever.
I went up to the farm two weeks early and started working up a storm.
side note: HUGE shout out to my Grandmother Louise, Grandpa Joe, Aunt Pam, and Uncle David for hosting this fabulous affair. I could not have been happier with the way it turned out and you all did WAY too much work for me and J. We love you and are so grateful!
Okay, back to two weeks early, my family and I painted barns, weeded flower beds, ate way too much great food, played with some baby cows, celebrated the 4th, took a few joy rides in the bucket truck, planted flowers, bailed hay, swam in the best pool in the world, and had a wonderful week working together and spending time as a family.
I came back to NC for the weekend, had my hair highlighted by the oh so talented Nora, ate one last meal before the wedding from Chipotle.
Then Tuesday my maid of honor, Alex and I headed back to WV. I am so happy I got to spend the week with her, and seriously best maid of honor ever. She came a week early!
J came Wednesday which happened to be his birthday and I had a birthday cobbler hot and ready when he got there.
The rest of the week was all working like crazy and being pampered all at the same time.

one of my best friends growing up went to heaven last year,
her mom came to the rehearsal and when I saw her I couldn't help but cry.
sad and happy tears.
and J (being amazing as always) pulled me aside and just hugged me as long as I needed.
soon to come:
